alovelierdesign: I just want everyone to know that this is a pile of shit. The media seems to be portraying Cranbrook Kingswood Upper School (not Academy) as an elitist, exclusive, snooty private school, and it very well may have been that way in the 60’s when Romney attended, but it isn’t that way any more. Just like everything else that used to be reserved for only a certain group of people, my school has evolved. The student body is genuinely diverse in many ways (socioeconomic, ethnic, religious, etc.) and strives to improve in the places it is lacking. I’m not saying it’s perfect, or that Romney’s experiences at Cranbrook weren’t vastly different from my own, after all, he did graduate at a time when I’m sure there were very few students of color, the girls were in a completely separate school, and the city itself was very exclusive. All I’m saying is that like everything else having to do with this election, don’t believe everything you read. And if $45,585/year sounds like a lot for a high school, that’s because it is.

If I tried to take everything from this world that reminded me of you, the earth would be so empty that God himself would have to start over.
